Estherville Unveils RAGBRAI Logo & Theme

March 06, 2025 Steve Schwaller

(Estherville)– Officials in Estherville have unveiled a theme and logo in conjunction with the community being the second overnight stop on this year’s RAGBRAI route. Lexi Ruter of the Estherville Chamber of Commerce says the theme is “Tour de Ville”…

“We’re kind of leaning into a little Tour de France theme, going with a little fun, French spin on things. We love that Estherville is a super unique name. We’re the only Estherville in the whole world, so we’re kind of leaning into that and having fun with the ‘ville.”

Ruter says planning is also kicking into high gear…

“We are hoping to have some of those forms for volunteers and housing and things like that ready this month, here during the month of March so people can get signed up for all those things that we’re going to be needing from our community and for some things that bikers are needing here in town. We’re working on everything, we’re headed down to Des Moines for a big meeting with RAGBRAI themselves for a couple of days and hoping to come back with lots of good feedback and ideas and getting rolling on everything. It’s been a busy last about six weeks.”

She adds there will be some additional exciting announcements about the Estherville RAGBRAI stop coming up soon…

“We’ll be announcing our band here in the next week or so, so that will be a big announcement for everybody that we’ll get to talk about. We ask everybody to follow us, we’ve got a website, Estherville.org/ragbrai-2025, and we’ve also got a Facebook page, Estherville RAGBRAI, and an Instagram page, Estherville RAGBRAI to follow for updates if you want to see that logo or if you want to hear all of the exciting things we’ve got planned.”

Ruter notes most of the events will be centered on Estherville’s downtown area…

“We’ve got such a beautiful square we want to show off, and then we’ve got some partners for things at our campground and stuff. We’re starting to lay everything out, we’re going to formalize some of those final concepts here in the next couple of weeks with the RAGBRAI officials, but definitely as far as all of the fun stuff our plan is in downtown Estherville.”

Again more information is available at their website, Estherville.org/ragbrai-2025 as well as Facebook and Instagram under Estherville Ragbrai.
