Estherville Traffic Stop Results In Arrest Of Ocheyedan Man On Drug Charges

November 22, 2014

(Estherville)—A traffic stop early Sunday in Estherville landed an Ocheyedan man in jail on drug charges.

Estherville police say an officer made the stop shortly before 2:00 a.m. for a traffic violation. During the stop, they say officers were able to smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver, 20-year-old Joshua Bosma of Ocheyedan, was arrested in connection with the traffic violation.

Officers conducted an inventory of the vehicle resulting in them finding three baggies of what’s believed to be marijuana and with several items of drug paraphernalia. Bosma was additionally charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver; failure to affix a drug tax stamp and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bosma was booked into the Emmet county jail.
