Estherville Flight Breakfast To Feature Aerabatic Pilot

November 22, 2014

(Estherville)– A Fourth of July tradition in Estherville will be marking its 64th year this year. The annual flight breakfast at the Estherville Airport will feature not only the usual offerings of pancakes, eggs and sausage but something in addition this year. Breakfast goers will also be able to enjoy an air show. Aerobatic pilot Dick Schulz of Minneapols will be performing two shows, around 8:30 a.m. and again at 10:00 a.m. July 4th.

Schulz has performed aerobatics for more than 25 years with 14,000 flight hours in many different types of aircraft.

In addition, you’ll have a chance to go up in the air with Schulz. Raffle tickets will be sold, with two lucky winners.

Music during the breakfast will be provided by the Northwest Iowa Jazz Band.

Helicopter and plane rides will be available for $25 each, and a kiddie candy drop will be held at about 11:00 a.m.

Tickets for the breakfast will be available at the door.
