(Estherville)– The Estherville City Council this (Mon.) evening will hold a public hearing on a proposal to enter into a sewer revenue loan agreement of slightly more than $2.2 million dollars for planned improvements at the city’s waste water treatment facility. The council also this (Mon.) will consider awarding a bid of $2.55 million for the project.
City officials say the project will bring the facility up to modern day standards and will reduce the amount of phosphorous it is discharging.
The Estherville City Council convenes at 5:00 pm today (Mon.) in the council chambers at city offices.
