Estherville Airport To Share In Federal Funding

February 02, 2024 Steve Schwaller

(Estherville)– Several airports in northwest Iowa have been awarded federal funding to make improvements to infrastructure.

The Estherville Airport will be getting $360,000 for runway repairs. The Sioux County Regional Airport has been awarded more than $123,000 to acquire nearly 24 acres near that facility for future development.

The funds are administered by the U.S. Department of Transportation through its Airport Infrastructure Grants Program.
