(Emmetsburg)—The Emmetsburg Police Department is investigating a rash of tire slashings that took place during the overnight between December 22nd and December 23rd. Authorities say they received 13 reports of vehicle tires that had been slashed during that timeframe. They say all the vehicles had been parked outside in driveways when the incidents took place.
Police say of the 13 incident reports they received, 24 vehicle tires were damaged, amounting to roughly $4,600.
The Emmetsburg Police Department is offering a $500 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of whoever’s responsible. Anyone with information should contact the Emmetsburg Police Department at (712) 852-2424.
