(Emmetsburg)– Emmetsburg police say a single-vehicle crash that took place August 4th and injured an Emmetsburg man remains under investigation and that charges are pending.
Police say Joshua Frederick of Emmetsburg was driving a 1994 Chevrolet northbound on North Lawler Street in Emmetsburg when he lost control. The vehicle traveled into the east ditch and flipped over multiple times, striking a utility pole and a tree at the Emmetsburg Golf Course. The vehicle eventually came to rest on the driver’s side after striking another pole near the entrance to the golf course.
Frederick was taken by ambulance to Palo Alto County Hospital.
Emmetsburg police are being assisted in the ongoing investigation by the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, Emmetsburg Fire Department and the Palo Alto County Ambulance Service.
