(Estherville)– A single-vehicle crash Wednesday in Emmet county sent three people to the hospital.
The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says 16-year-old Brody Metzger of rural Wallingford was driving a 1998 Dodge pickup on 400th Avenue about a hlf mile north of Riverview Golf Course when he lost control. The vehicle left the road and rolled.
Metzger and two passengers, 15-year-old Callie Varner of Ringsted and 16-year-old Daniel Clemens of Wallingford were taken by ambulance to Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville for treatment of minor injuries.
A damage estimate to the vehicle wasn’t immediately available.
The crash took place shortly after 6:00 p.m.
The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Estherville Fire Department and Emmet County Emergency Management.
