(Armstrong)– A Ringsted woman lost her life in a single vehicle crash Friday near Armstrong.
The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says 31-year-old Hannah Jo Johnson was driving a 2007 Jeep southbound near the intersection of Highway 15 and 170th Street about a mile east of Armstrong. Authorities say Johnson was rounding a curve when the vehicle left the road and rolled multiple times, ejecting her. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash took place a little after 4:00 pm. Authorities say it remains under investigation.
The Iowa State Patrol, Emmet County Emergency Management, Emmet County Medical Examiner, Armstrong Fire Department and the Ringsted Ambulance Service assisted on the scene.
