(Estherville)– A single-vehicle crash Sunday in Emmet county claimed the life of an Estherville man.
The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Todd Murray of Estherville was driving a 2005 Ford pickup northbound about a mile and-a-half north of Highway 9 on Emmet County Road N32 when he lost control. The vehicle went into the west ditch and struck the road bed of 155th Street. It then vaulted over 155th Street and continued rolling northbound until it came to rest in a farm field.
Authorities say Murray was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies say the crash, which took place shortly after 7:00 a.m., remains under investigation.
