Emmet County Authorities Release Details Into Recent Drug Arrests

(Estherville)– Authorities in Emmet county have released details into two recent drug-related arrests. One of those took place around 3:30 pm February 28th when a deputy spotted a vehicle with expired registration. It was pulled over in the 2500 block of Highway 4. Upon making the stop a deputy discovered controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. 22-year-old Kenneth Burrow of Estherville was then placed under arrest. A search warrant was obtained and executed the same day at Burrow’s residence which turned up additional controlled substances and paraphernalia. He was charged with operation without registration, failure to provide proof of financial security, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…1st offense, possession of a controlled substance…psilocybin mushrooms…1st offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The other incident took place on March 1st when a deputy stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 2200 block of 490th Avenue in Emmet county. The deputy then discovered a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. 27-year-old Arnoldo Garcia, Jr. of rural Estherville was charged with driving with a revoked license, failure to provide proof of financial liability, speeding, operation without registration, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…1st offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
