(Estherville)– The Superintendent at Estherville Lincoln-Central will be resigning effective this coming February 28th, 2025, or when an interim Superintendent is appointed.

A press release issued by the district states that the school board has approved Aiddy Phomvisay’s resignation and that he will be on leave for personal reasons until his resignation becomes effective. It goes on to say that high school Principal Brad Leonard will fill in as acting Superintendent in the meantime.

School Board President Jeff Soper says the Estherville Lincoln-Central School Board will ensure a smooth transition and will maintain stability and success of the district during this time.

Soper says the board is in the process of looking for an interim replacement right now and that they plan to hire a new Superintendent by July 1st, 2025.
