DuPont Pioneer Receives Iowa Venture Award For New Distribution Center In Spencer

(Spencer)– DuPont Pioneer has received an award for its new distribution center in the Green Industrial Center in Spencer.

DuPont Pioneer is one of nine Iowa companies to receive this year’s Iowa Venture Award. The award is presented by the Iowa Area Development Corporation on behalf of Iowa’s rural electric cooperatives and member municipal electric systems.

Murphy-Brown in Algona was among six other businesses recognized in the Venture Awards program for their significant contributions in diversifying and strengthening Iowa’s economy.

The 2012 Iowa Venture Awards luncheon ceremony was held in conjunction with the Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives’ annual meeting in West Des Moines.
