(Spencer)– Four juveniles have been cited in connection with an underage drinking party last Wednesday at a residence in Royal.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy on routine patrol in the 400 block of Church Street in Royal saw two subjects running south near the school around 12:30 a.m.
The deputy managed to catch one of the subjects a short distance away. Upon investigating, the deputy determined the subject, a 16-year-old male juvenile, had been drinking beer at a friend’s house.
A second 16-year-old male juvenile was also located and it was determined he had allegedly beend rinking as well at the same residence.
Another deputy arrived at the residence and it was determined another 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old male juvenile had also been allegedly drinking at the same residence.
All four were cited into juvenile court for underage alcohol possession and were released to the custody of a responsible adult or parent.
