(Spencer)– An investigation into a domestic disturbance in Fostoria resulted in the arrests of two people on multiple drug charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to 422 1st Avenue Southwest in Fostoria around 1:00 am March 19th after getting a report of a domestic disturbance. Deputies met with two occupants of the residence and discovered marijuana plants growing inside. 37-year-old Amber Wells and 41-year-old Lucas Richardson, both of Fostoria, were taken into custody and transported to the Clay county jail. A search of Wells as she was being booked into jail turned up what’s believed to methamphetamine that was hidden inside her shirt. Deputies then obtained and executed a search warrant on the residence where they found additional marijuana and what’s believed to be meth, along with firearms and drug paraphernalia.
Both Wells and Richardson were charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine; possession with intent to deliver marijuana; failure to affix a drug tax stamp; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wells was additionally charged with possession of contraband in a correctional institution.
