(Everly)– A domestic disturbance Christmas Eve at a residence in Everly resulted in the arrests of two people on domestic abuse and drug charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called around 6:30 p.m. Christmas Eve to 505 East Saint Mary’s Street in Everly after getting a report of a disturbance.
Upon investigating, 30-year-old Joshua Radley of Everly was arrested on charges of domestic abuse…simple assault; possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of prescription pills.
Radley was booked into the Clay county jail pending an appearance before a magistrate.
Authorities say 23-year-old Nicole Holtz, who lives at the same address, turned herself into the Clay County Sheriff’s Office Saturday evening. She was wanted on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, which authorities say they found in the residence while responding to the domestic abuse call the previous evening.
Holtz was released after posting bond.
