(Wahpeton)– The Iowa Great Lakes will be the site of one in a series of meetings the Iowa Department of Natural Resources will be holding to gather input on what Iowans want from their state park system, and their local parks in particular.
The local meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 4th in the lodge at Gull Point State Park.
Kevin Szcodronski, chief of the DNR’s State Parks Bureau, says the meetings are intended to help provide the agency direction for services and amenities to keep the state’s parks premier destinations for years to come.
Szcodronski says DNR staff members will be on hand to answer questions.
