(Undated)– We told you a couple of days ago about a recently completed restoration of a shallow lake in Emmet county. The project the past few years at West Swan Lake included a draw down of the lake, eradication of rough fish like carp, re-filling the lake, re-vegetation and re-stocking it with bluegills, yellow perch, northern pike and large mouth bass.

Similar restorations have been done at numerous other shallow lakes in the region in recent years.
