(Wahpeton)– Local residents will be able to see firsthand next week how the Iowa Natural Resource Commission works.
The commission, which oversees the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, will be meeting next week in the Iowa Great Lakes.
Commissioners and DNR staff will meet at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9th at Gull Point State Park for an extensive tour of the area. Commissioners will then gather for a 6:00 p.m. dinner at Fillenwarth Beach.
Commissioners will reconvene at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, September 10th at Lakeside Lab for their regular monthly meeting.
Greg Drees of Arnolds Park is a member of the five-person commission.
