(Spirit Lake)– What originally started off as a report of a disturbance in the Triboji Beach area Friday resulted in the arrest of a Spirit Lake man on several charges.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says it stems from a call in the 15000 block of Lincoln Boulevard in the Triboji Beach area.
Authorities say the suspect, 58-year-old Ronald Ahrenstorff of Spirit Lake, had left the scene before deputies arrived. They managed to locate him a short time later.
Ahrenstorff was arrested and charged with domestic abuse assault; possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and operating while intoxicated.
Ahrenstorff was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Spirit Lake Police Department.
