(Sheldon)– A Sibley man faces charges in connection with a disturbance Sunday evening at the First Christian Reformed Church in Sheldon. Police were called there around 6:00 pm after getting reports of a man who was trying to fight with people. Officers learned the man had caused a disturbance at the church earlier and was asked to leave. He’s accused of kicking a pastor and striking another pastor. 39-year-old Joey Wilhelms was charged with one count of disorderly conduct and two counts of assault.
