Dickinson County Supervisors Table Action On Request By Barefoot Bar To Extend Outdoor Service Area

November 22, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– Saying they want to get some questions answered first, the Dickinson county board of supervisors this (Tuesday) morning tabled action on a request from businessman Butch Parks to extend an outdoor service area for the Barefoot Bar to include an area of land he purchased from the Lutheran Camp.

Concern was expressed over the possibility of people consuming alcohol in a nearby wooded area, possibly causing problems.

Supervisor Pam Jordan had questions and concerns over how some wetlands in the area of the proposed expansion are being mitigated.

Neither Parks or a representative of his were present at today’s (Tues.) meeting.

The matter will be back on the agenda for next week’s meeting.
