(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson county board of supervisors Tuesday reviewed plans for the courthouse employee parking lot to be located in the area where the former Ferguson Manufacturing buildings were located.
Plans call for about 70 10-foot wide stalls.
Low impact development features will be included, along with permeable pavers.
The project has an estimated cost of 400-thousand dollars and will be financed as part of the courthouse project.
April 21st has been set as the tentative date for a bidletting. Construction would be over the summer. It’s expected to take about two to three months to complete.
Officials warn there could be some inconvenience as the city of Spirit Lake will be reconstructing 19th Street at about the same time.
