Dickinson County Supervisors Approve Temporary Re-Classifications For Small Stretches Of Two County Roads

January 27, 2026

(Spirit Lake)– A temporary change is being made in the classification of small stretches of two Dickinson county roads.

The supervisors this (Tues.) morning approved a request to change the classifications on 160th Avenue from 220th Street to 210th Street and 210th Street from 160th Avenue to 170th Avenue, temporarily changing their status from non-snow plowed to snow plowed.

County Engineer Jeff Rose told the supervisors a contractor doing some work in a drainage district in that area made the request in order to be able to haul material to the site once the work starts in February.

Rose says the classifications will revert back to NO snow plowing when the project is completed.
