Several in the crowd opposed to any new development of wind farms in Dickinson county differed, saying the turbines being proposed for a new facility in eastern and central Dickinson county are much larger compared to the ones addressed in the 2009 ordinance. The Planning and Zoning Commission took no action during Monday’s meeting. Chairman Tony Weber said the committee’s work is far from complete and that it will still be sometime before the commission will be able to make a formal recommendation to the Board of Supervisors.
