Dickinson County Food Pantries Remain Busy

(Spirit Lake)– Food pantries in Dickinson county continue to see a high demand. Kim Wermersen represents the Board of Supervisors on the Dickinson County Hunger Coalition…

“The Lake Park pantry served 51 households or 103 people. The Milford pantry served 51 households or 100 people. Spirit Life pantry in Spirit Lake continues to average about 100 people per month that they are serving. Good News Church continues to be very steady in their activity. They are really in need of volunteers so if anyone would like to help please check with Good News Church. Randy’s Pantries, those are the dry pantries, one is located at the Senior Center, one at Lakes Regional Physical Therapy in Milford. Dry goods go in those and people can go and open those up and get them at any time.”

Wermersen presented the update at Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting.
