(Spirit Lake)– Dickinson County Emergency Management is making sand and sandbags available to residents that have property being threatened by high water.
In Spirit Lake, sandbags are in a shelter to the west of the sand bunker. The site is about a block and-a-half west of the courthouse, at 1007 19th Street. Sand and sandbags are available in Milford inside the hoop building at the new secondary roads building on the east of Milford, just off County Road A-34. Wahpeton residents can pick up sandbags at city hall. A limited amount of sand is located just west of Highway 86 on 190th Street. Once that supply is gone, Wahpeton residents will need to go to the site in Spirit Lake or Milford.
