Dickinson County Conservation Board To Hold Stakeholder Meetings

(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Conservation Board wants to hear input from citizens during a series of stakeholder meetings it will be holding next week. Leopold says those interested in giving inut should plan to attend one of two meetings next week…(click here for comment from Leopold.).

Leopold says they’re trying to gauge the amount of interest in each project so they can start prioritizing for budgeting purposes…(click here for comment from Leopold.).

Anyone wanting to provide input but unable to attend either of the meetings may submit their comments in writing. They should be sent to the Dickinson County Conservation Board/Nature Center; 2279 170th Street; Okoboji, Iowa…51355.

The Dickinson County Conservation Board manages 10 areas encompaassing 566 acres and is home to the Dickinson County Nature Center at Kenue Park, just northwest of the town of Okoboji.
