(Milford)– A traffic stop last Friday on Highway 71 in Milford resulted in charges against two people.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Whitney Eckhart of West Des Moine. Eckhart was charged with operating while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A passenger, 28-year-old Justin Gurney of Dexter, Iowa exited the vehicle on his own accord. He was arrested and charged with public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were booked into the Dickinson county jail.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Milford Police Department.
