(Spirit Lake)– A seven-member committee assigned with the task of drawing new boundaries for supervisor districts in Dickinson county held its first meeting today (Tues.).
The Temporary Redistricting Committee officially organized, reviewed various materials, identified a timeline for the project and held its first working session.
The committee’s task is to draw new supervisor districts, each containing nearly the same amount of population, based on the latest census figures.
Area cities are undergoing a similar process to re-draw lines for city council precinct boundaries.
