Dickinson Co. POW’s Urged To Contact Local Veteran’s Services Office

November 22, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– History will be made June 14th as the Dickinson county courthouse is officially dedicated in a ceremony.

A separate event is being planned that same day for the Veteran’s Memorial Plaza which was also constructed as part of the courthouse project.

Dickinson County Veteran’s Services Director Ernie Cupp says they’ll be paying tribute to the county’s veterans and POW’s. Any POW from Dickinson county is urged to contact Cupp’s office so they can be recognized at the June 14th event. Anyone who knows of a POW from the county that should be recognized should also contact Cupp’s office.

Cupp says the sooner you can give his office a call with those names, the better as they’re finalizing plans for the event.
