Dickinson Co. Pheasants Forever Gearing Up For Annual Banquet

(Spirit Lake)– Dickinson County Pheasants Forever will hold their annual banquet this Saturday evening at the Dickinson County Expo Building in Spirit Lake. Club member Heath Williams says the doors will open at 4:00 pm with dinner being served at 5:30 pm…

“We have all kinds of games and raffles and auctions, a silent auction, prizes going on. Of course there’s always tickets that are still available. You can go on our Facebook page, Iowa Great Lakes Pheasants Forever and purchase your tickets prior or we are selling them day of at the door. We’re going to have a great meal planned for you guys. We have Firehouse Kitchen from Krafty’s Meat Market, so the food is going to be great. We’re going to have a prime rib dinner. Of course we’ll have a smothered chicken option as well if you’re not a prime rib fan, but the food is going to be awesome and of course all the fixings to go along with it.”

Williams adds all of the proceeds from the event stay local…

“It’s not just for pheasants, it’s for water quality, habitat, all kinds of other things that a lot of other people enjoy. So if you’re not a pheasant hunter this is still a great program to come in and help the Iowa Great Lakes.”
