(Spencer)– A dickens man was arrested over the weekend on multiple charges. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 48-year-old Jon Jones was charged with nine counts of violation of a no-contact order.
Authorities say it stems from a report they received of an alleged violation of a no-contact order and that Jones had allegedly been making serious threats against his wife through text messages and phone conversations. Jones was also charged with four counts of harrassment in the 1st degree. He’s being held in the Clay County jail on a $15,000 cash only bond.
The Clay County Sheriffs’ Office says the investigation is ongoing that more charges are possible.
