(Jackson, Mn.)– Power was knocked out to eastern Jackson county and southern Martin county this (Mon.) morning when a delivery truck collided with a utility pole, knocking down an electrical transmission line.
It happened early this (Mon.) morning on Petersburg Road, between Jackson and Petersburg. Nearly 1,950 Federated REA members were impacted by the crash and subsequent outage.
Workers were able to restore power by 7:30 am by re-routing the electricity.
Petersburg Road was closed from Jackson to County Road 8 while crews worked to get the lines back up. That process was expected to continue into early this (Mon.) afternoon.
