(Arnolds Park)– A Milford man sustained minor injuries when a motorcycle he was operating this (Fri.) morning collided with a deer on Highway 71 just north of the Emerald Hills Golf Course.
The Arnolds Park Police Department says 26-year-old Joseph Bentley of Milford was driving a 2023 Honda northbound when he collided with the animal.
Bentley was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with a non-incapacitating injury.
Arnolds Park police were assisted by the Milford Police Department, Arnolds Park/Okoboji Fire & Rescue and the Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance.
The mishap took place a little before 5:30 am.
