(Arnolds Park)– A reminder: the deadline to submit nominations for cheerleaders for the 2025 University of Okoboji Winter Games is this coming Tuesday, December 31st. Nominees must be at least 18 years of age, must be a resident of Dickinson county or work in the county. They should exhibit a ready smile, generous heart, good nature, and have enthusiasm for what the area has to offer. Nominees should also show a desire to offer their time and talent to enhance the quality of life in the Iowa Great Lakes Area. Nominations can be submitted online or by stopping by the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce in Arnolds Park.
Voting to determine the eight cheerleaders will be conducted online and in person from 9am – 5pm on Thursday, January 2nd and Friday, January 3rd. In person voting will be available at the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce located in Arnolds Park at 565 S Hwy 71. Online voting will be limited to one vote per email.
The 8 individuals with the most votes will be contacted and announced on Sunday, January 5th.
