(Spirit Lake)– This year’s University of Okoboji Point-To-Point Swim is being called off until next year.
In a press release, officials with the event organizer, YMCA of the Okoboji’s, say the decision was made due to conditions on both Pikes Point and Gull Point beaches.
Those who have registered for this year’s event will receive a refund. Those with questions about that process should contact YMCA Member Services at 712-336-9622.
This year’s event was scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd.
