Kassel says most of the soybeans in areas that got the rain will also benefit…(click here for comment from Kassel.)
However for those with crops on hilly, sandy areas, Kassel says the rain was too little too late. He says the damage has already been done in those areas, where the corn is pretty much burned up.
And not everyone got the rain. Kassel says a large part of eastern Emmet county got very little or none at all.
Nearly three quarters of an inch fell at the KUOO studios.
