(Hull)– A Sanborn teen sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision Monday on Highway 18 near Hull.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says a 16-year-old from Sanborn was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala westbound and 23-year-old Austin Roemeling of Boyden was driving a 1996 Toyota Corolla, also westbound. Authorities say the 16-year-old had slowed for traffic when Roemeling collided with the rear of the vehicle driven by the 16-year-old.
The 16-year-old sustained minor injuries but sought her own treatment.
Roemeling was cited for following too closely.
