(Lake Park)– A two-vehicle collision Thursday on Highway 9 near 160th Avenue east of Lake Park sent one person to the hospital.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 59-year-old Diane Kletsch of Valley Falls, Kansas was driving a 2004 Dodge Ram westbound when she lost control of the vehicle which crossed the center line and collided with an eastbound 2016 Mercedes Benz driven by 43-year-old Tana Nozka of Lake Park.
Nozka had to be extricated from her vehicle and was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. A dog in Nozka’s vehicle was injured and was taken to a veterinarian. No injuries were reported to Kletsch.
Dickinson County Emergency Management, the Lake Park Fire Department, Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance and Jennings Tow and Repair assisted on the scene.
The crash took place around 11:16 am Thursday.
