Crash On Hwy 60 In Sw Mn Injures Man

(Heron Lake, Mn.)—Minor injuries were reported when a semi slid off ice-covered Highway 60 in southwest Minnesota early yesterday (Sun.).

The Minnesota State Patrol says 27-year-old Mohamed Ali of Willmar was driving a 2001 Freightliner eastbound when he lost control on the ice-covered road. The rig came to rest in the median.

Ali was taken Sanford Hospital in Worthington where he was treated for a minor injury.

Minor damage was reported to the semi.

The crash took place shortly after midnight near Heron Lake in Jackson county.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Heron Lake ambulance.
