(Rock Rapids)– A single-vehicle crash Monday in Lyon county injured a Rock Rapids man.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says 21-year-old Scott DeJong of Rock Rapids was driving a 1988 Buick on a county road southeast of Rock Rapids when he missed a curve and went off the road. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its wheels.
DeJong was transported to Sanford Hospital in Rock Rapids where he was treated for minor injuries.
$2,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The crash took place shortly before 11:30 p.m.
