Crash Near Heron Lake Sends Two People To The Hospital

(Heron Lake, Mn.)– Two people were taken to the hospital when a vehicle slid off Highway 60 near Heron Lake Saturday afternoon and hit a light pole.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 32-year-old Jessica Vanessa Miguel Nicolas of Windom lost control of a 2002 Honda Civic while traveling westbound. She and a passenger, 31-year-old Ser Nag Moo of Windom, were taken to Sanford Hospital in Worthington with non-incapacitating injuries.

The crash took place shortly after 2:30 pm.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Heron Lake Fire and Ambulance and the Minnesota Department of Transportation assisted on the scene.
