(Arnolds Park)– A special enforcement operation Saturday night at establishments in Arnolds sent 17 people to jail for underage drinking and related charges.
Arnolds Park police say a total of 15 falsified driver’s licenses were seized during the checks.
Charges included possession of alcohol under the legal age, public intoxication and misuse of an ID to acquire alcohol.
The Arnolds Park Police Department was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Department of Public Safety Communication Mobile Command Trailer, Okoboji and Milford Police Departments; the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, Dickinson County Communications Center, Dickinson County Jail and Dickinson County Emergency Management.
A press release doesn’t mention the names of the establishments where the operations were conducted.
