(Spencer)– Area business owners, entrepreneurs and employees are being urged to take advantage of a special opportunity the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation will be offering next month.
Kathy Evert of the Corridor says the seminars are titled “How To Thrive In Any Economy”. Evert says the seminars will be put on by Scott Lowe who recently joined the Corridor’s staff as Vice President for Entrepreneurship. Lowe is an Iowa native and former business owner. He most recently was a professor at James Madison University in Virginia.
Evert says the lunch seminars will cover the fundamentals to exercise financial and business savvy, to proactively manage the future and understand the value creation process of your business.
The seminars will be held Thursday, December 3rd at the Spencer Golf and Country Club; Friday, December 4th at King’s Pointe Resort in Storm Lake; Wednesday, December 9th at Bank Midwest in Spirit Lake; and Thursday, December 10th in room 74 at Iowa Lakes Community College.
Cost is 15-dollars per person and pre-registration is required by contacting the Corridor’s office in Spencer.
The seminars will last about 90 minutes each.
