(Primghar)– A correction on a story earlier this week involving a single vehicle crash that took place Saturday in O’Brien county.
Information in a news release from the Iowa State Patrol indicated the driver, Janice Dau of Calumet, had been cited for failure to maintain control and first offense operating while intoxicated. However, online court documents show instead she was charged with speeding and failure to maintain control.
Authorities say Dau lost control as she was reaching to pick up a cell phone.
Minor injuries were reported.
