(Algona)– The man convicted of killing Algona Officer Kevin Cram must serve out his sentence.
Kyle Ricke was sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of first-degree murder last July. Ricke shot Cram eight times in September 2023 while the officer attempted to serve an arrest warrant for the suspect.
A judge for the Iowa District Court for Kossuth County upheld Ricke’s conviction earlier this week. He will serve a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
