Contrary To Rumors, Echo-Plus Can Redemption Center Is NOT Closing

That being said, Brewer tells KUOO news they do face on ongoing financial challenge in operating the center. She says of the five cent Iowa refund, the center only gets a penny. Brewer adds it isn’t just the 15 or so disabled people that work in the redemption center that are beneffited by it, but it’s the entire community…Click here for comment from Amanda Brewer

The Echo-Plus can redemption center in Spirit Lake is open to the public Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 12 Noon. The center is open to businesses and bars Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. until 12 Noon.
