(Spencer)– The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation has announced the substantial completion of the Spencer Speculative Building in the Spencer Technical Park South.
A number of entities were involved in the project, including the Iowa Lakes Corridor Future Fund, Corn Belt Power Cooperative, Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative, Clay County, the city of Spencer and Spencer Municipal Utilities. Additional support was from the Iowa Area Development Group through the Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant Program.
The 30,000 square foot building is designed for an open floor plan. Henningsen Construction of Spencer was the general contractor.
A ribbon cutting will be held this coming Tuesday, July 1st.
