(Jackson, Mn.)– Construction continues on a major renovation of the AGCO plant in Jackson.
It will include a special facility known as an “Intivity Center” that will showcase the past, present and future farmer-focused innovation and productivity upon which brands such as Massey Ferguson and Challenger, which are built by AGCO, have flourished.
The 16,000 square foot Intivity Center will also include interactive displays and according to company officials will host as many as 10,000 local and international visitors annually.
It’s part of a 75,000 square foot expansion of the Jackson manufacturing operation, which will bring Massey Feguson row-crop tractor production back to North America.
A company news release doesn’t mention how many new jobs will be added as a result of the expansion.
